Awesome television ad featuring retired San Jose Police Chief Joseph McNamara. It feels reassuring to see a previous (and intellectual!) member of law enforcement urging Californians to vote YES on Prop 19 this November. Learn more about the propostion at yeson19.com. My fingers are crossed!

Featuring vaporizer ads, reports of crime rates dropping, and an Allstate spoof. The color channel could be a little more trippy! ..But maybe that’s a different program.

Galifianakis, Bill Maher, marijuana & dragons

Actor and comedian Zach Galifianakis pulled out a joint and started smoking on Bill Maher’s “Real Time” HBO show. I haven’t seen the full episode, but apparently they were having a discussion about Proposition 19 and Zach wanted to prove that you can smoke pot without acting like a complete psycho. He even passes the J around the table to prove that it is real and to see if anyone else wants a puff.

Hilarious public stunt with a great point: many people still see weed as a taboo and are therefore opposed to legalization.

As usual, all those silly hardcore conservatives need is a little education.
