At ZebraDetox, we strive to put the funniest material on the net all in one place. So we need your help! As hard as we try, it’s virtually impossible for our small staff to be knowledgeable of all the current viral videos, pics, and stories. And since we try to provide all the old, classic hits as well – we’re bound to miss a few!
So if you’re ahead of the trend and know of a hot new hit, or you’re pissed we missed one of your favorite old ones, lets us know! If you have your own content, don’t be afraid to self-promote. You have two options when it comes to submitting funny content:
The first and the easiest (for you) - Include a brief description and the link (we will not open attachments) to whatever it is you think is funny (pic, story, video, etc.) inside of the email. That’s it! If we deem it worthy and decide to publish it – you’ll receive a thank you email including a link to the post.
The second method may appeal most to college students and/or writers: ZebraDetox offers the chance for you to submit material and write your own educated / opinionated review. So basically- you write your own post.
Some examples:
You have a strong opinion on a political or environmental current event that you want to tackle in a satirical or humorous way. You have a funny personal review of a product, television show, or movie. You want to explain to the world why people should go to work naked or why polygamy should be legal. This option is very open-ended and allows many possibilities.
So what’s in it for you? If you write your own article and it’s chosen to be published, the post will appear under your own name (or the screen name you provide).
College Students: ZebraDetox is willing to negotiate internship credit with your university in exchange for regular posts by you that meet our standards.
Writers & Job-Seekers: Published content is a great resume-builder, and ZebraDetox will be more than happy to provide references for regular, witty writers who go the extra-mile and produce high-quality content.
