Brigham Young University students invent motorized couch

Two Brigham Young University students invented a motorized couch to cruise around campus but were banned from using the “device” after testing it out.

As one of the “inventors” points out:

“I’m excited for when my kids come to BYU. I’ll show them on the wall of rules, like no motorized couches, and I’ll be like, ‘That was me!’” says Nicholas Homer, BYU student from Riverton.

The motorized couch is powered by a wheelchair motor. “The students say their favorite thing to do on their motorized couch is go to the Wendy’s drive-thru.
